Another year begins and with it a new blog to celebrate the residents of Traveller's Rest Equine Elders Sanctuary. TREES was created as a haven for some of the most senior members of Virginia's horse population; those who have "fallen through the cracks" or whose owners encounter hardships making it impossible to continue caring for old equine friends. Jeb, the gentleman pictured in this entry, is currently TREES' oldest resident, entering his 40th year this spring.
